Thank you to everyone who attended our AGM on 17th June. It was a great opportunity to reflect on another successful year for Raheny United and look ahead to the exciting plans for the future.

Renovations & Facilities 🛠️
The clubhouse extension is now complete, including a new lift and Veo analysis/meeting room. Work is progressing on the new gym and solar panel installation, with plans continuing for a new astro pitch. Additional access to pitches at DCU, Kilbarrack and Parnells will support winter training.
Football ⚽️
Another fantastic season saw league titles and promotions across the club. The Academy continues to go from strength to strength, with continued growth in girls' football, player pathways and coach development.
FAI ClubMark Accreditation ✅
Raheny United officially achieved FAI ClubMark Accreditation, recognising the club's high standards in governance, player welfare and club development.
Born to Lead 👏
Our Born to Lead Junior Match Officials Programme continues to grow, providing young referees with valuable experience while promoting respect, confidence and positive behaviour across the club.
Corporate Sponsorship 🤝
A new three-year Corporate Sponsorship Programme was launched to help fund future club developments, including our long-term facilities strategy.
Child Welfare 👦👧
Our Child Welfare processes continue to ensure a safe, fun and positive environment for every player, with safeguarding remaining a priority throughout the club.
Member Engagement 👥
Parent and coach surveys were completed during the year, helping shape the club's future priorities and ensuring members continue to have a voice in our development.
Fundraising ⛳️
Another successful year of fundraising included the Golf Classic and Christmas Draw with continued support from our fantastic sponsors and volunteers.
Finances 💶
The club remains in a strong financial position, with continued investment in facilities while planning responsibly for future projects.
Governance 🤝
Members approved constitutional changes to strengthen the Executive Committee and support the club's continued growth.
Committee Updates 👏
- Aidan O’Looney stepped down as Chairman after five years, with Noel Prendiville stepping in as Interim Chairman.
- After four years in the role, Andrew Byrne, Director of Women’s Football stepped down, with Mary Power taking up the position.
- The Treasurer position remains vacant and the club is actively seeking someone to take on the role
- Alan Duffy has since taken up the role of Facilities Director.
