Club History

Raheny United Football Club was founded in 1994 following an amalgamation between Raheny Boys and Dunseedy United. In November 2003 we opened our redeveloped Clubhouse, which is now complete with four dressing rooms, a gym, sixteen showers, a Players Lounge which caters for 100 people and a Function Room, complete with full bar facilities that can cater for 120 people.

In 2015 we entered a partnership with Dublin City Council and Raheny GAA to take responsibility for the running of the all-weather pitch in St. Anne's Park.

We currently cater for seven senior teams, forty seven junior teams, and host our own academy for youngsters every Saturday morning, making us one of the larger junior soccer clubs in Ireland.

Our senior teams compete across the AUL, LSL, LFL & AFL whilst our schoolboy teams compete in the DDSL and NDSL. All of our schoolgirl teams compete in the MGL League.

At the centre of the club ethos is the development of our local youth in the skills of football, in a safe, relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. We hope they can form lifelong friendships and a sense of community and can learn to become the next generation of mentors & coaches driving the club’s future while holding true to this ethos.
